Live Community Gathering, online this Sunday
I am SO excited to announce Gatherings on the Plaza, a live online community gathering that seeks to provide a meaningful virtual place to meet each other, know each other, and help support each other in our pursuits of becoming better people, more deeply connected to each other, in pursuit of ever more livable neighborhoods.
Where: The meeting will be held virtually with a link to the meeting (Google Meet) sent via email to all who have RSVPed.
When: Sunday, June 21 @ 5 PM CDT
Join the first Gathering on the Plaza where we’ll:
Talk about the very real problems with social media for creating local change
Talk about the purpose and vision for the Gathering on the Plaza
Introduce ourselves to each other and begin to know one another as friends
Introduction to a simple but profound tool called Bentoism for diving into the value systems that each of us hold
Decide when and how often we want to meet as a virtual community
We’ll also have some fun together! This will be like a happy hour mixed with meaningful, guided conversation. Bring your favorite beverage and get excited to meet some other amazing people who care deeply about where they live!
Make sure to bring some paper and a writing implement.
More about the event on the Livable City website.
See you all on Sunday!
Cheers,
Jim
